The Test Engineer will be responsible for carrying out duties within the test engineering department, including test equipment set-up, performing tests as per given Test Request, analysing data and creating test reports.
Key responsibilities include: Perform a range of component testing using our in-house mechanical and servo hydraulic test machines. Produce written reports. Perform DVP&R testing of components. Assemble prototype and low-volume vehicles. Work on vehicles in a safe and unsupervised manner, supporting our vehicle ride and handling projects. Assemble, test and validate new R&D suspension dampers and mechatronic systems. Low-volume production damper and mechatronic system assembly. Test project management, to be able to take on tasks from beginning to end liaising with other departments for the completion of the project. Inspect assemblies and produce reports using Faro Arm CMM. Perform other duties as assigned. Be a strong communicator both verbally and written. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. TS 16949, ISO 9001:2014). Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner. Ensure compliance with security requirements, including information security, data protection, and prototype protection, to maintain the highest standards of information security at the level required by our customers.
