The Tool & Die Maker is a key member of the MWT team responsible for the design, development, fabrication and maintenance of tooling to meet the company's manufacturing needs.
This position requires working closely with supervisors, project leaders, and engineers to ensure the timely delivery of quality tooling that meets customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include planning, designing and building tooling, interacting with designers/project leaders/apprentices to develop manufacturable components, ensuring customer requirements are met, considering alternative solutions for given tasks or problems, maintaining job folders/electronic data, and reviewing project direction with project leaders.
The successful candidate will have a Tool and Die Maker Certification or equivalent, 5 to 7 years of experience as a tool & die maker, ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool design, maintenance, and fabrication, knowledge of GD&T, CAD, and ability to delegate work.
The salary range for this position is $27.72 - $51.44.
