Position Overview
The Brandon Wheat Kings are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the organization’s marketing, branding, and fan engagement initiatives. This role is integral to driving ticket sales, enhancing the game-day experience, and maximizing the impact of our partnerships within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive ticket sales, including season tickets, group sales, and promotions.
- Manage and maintain brand consistency across all channels and marketing materials.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, and website content. Manage social media across Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Plan and execute game day promotions, entertainment, and fan engagement activities.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with the season schedule.
- Lead email & text message marketing campaigns and website updates.
- Collaborate with corporate partners to fulfill sponsorship agreements and create engaging activations.
- Lead community engagement initiatives, including events, school programs, and player appearances.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Sport Management, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in sports or entertainment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Experience with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and analytics.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and game days.
