We are looking for a talented Engineer to join our team at FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY GmbH. As a Versuchsingenieur Prüffeld, you will be responsible for planning and conducting tests to evaluate the suitability of lubricants for automotive and industrial applications, focusing on systems with oil-based lubrication.
Your tasks will include:
- Planning and performing test field experiments to assess the lubricant's suitability for various applications
- Technical responsibility for test equipment: quality management, maintenance, repair, and safe operation
- Creating test programs, setting up test specimens, and constructing test piece samples
- Analyzing and evaluating measurement and test data for internal and external stakeholders
- Technical responsibility for test equipment regarding quality management, maintenance, repair, and safe operation
- International customer communication to present test results and coordinate test methods
- Conducting and documenting wear and damage analyses on components
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field
- Several years of experience in testing or proving out components, preferably in the drive train or automotive sector, including experience with test equipment and knowledge of control and regulation technology and data analysis
- Strong interest in developing and improving test procedures to realistically represent application scenarios in close collaboration with customers and willingness to adapt to new technical challenges
- Familiarity with tribology, software development, calculation/CAD, or measurement technology is a plus
- Team-oriented, structured, and self-motivated work style with high flexibility and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and secure English language proficiency in writing and speaking
- High presentation skills and professional appearance
