As a Program Manager at Multimatic, you will be responsible for all aspects of program management, including prototypes, pre-production samples, production start-up, customer launch, and monitoring the overall program throughout production. You will work closely with the General Manager, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure that products are manufactured to all engineering/customer and manufacturing specifications. Your responsibilities will also include investigating and analysing quality concerns, updating drawings, and communicating with customers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of program management, including prototypes, pre-production samples, production start-up, customer launch, and monitoring the overall program throughout production.
- Working closely with the General Manager, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure that products are manufactured to all engineering/customer and manufacturing specifications.
- Investigating and analysing quality concerns, updating drawings, and communicating with customers and internal teams.
- Collaborating with the Process Engineer and related department managers/supervisors to plan and implement new or revised process flows for improving plant layout and efficiencies.
- Providing direction to the Continuous Improvement Team (C.I.T.) by establishing goals and timing schedules to meet objectives.
You will have excellent problem-solving techniques, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have experience in engineering or tooling with an automotive background, and be familiar with company and customer quality systems.
