The Accounting Specialist will be working alongside the Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager and supporting with the below responsibilties:
- Perform key reconciliations for G/L Accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS
- Perform various month end activities to ensure deadlines are met on time and with accuracy
- Develop and execute detailed test cases relating to GFBB data migration and implementation
- Integration testing to ensure financial modules integrate with SAP modules and functionalities
- Ad-Hoc requests relating to GFBB project
- Oversee key direct costs and provision accounts
- Oversee posting Interface files into SAP financial system and mapping for future GFBB system
- Prepare key financial documentation for both Internal and external audits
- Assist with preparation of year end consolidated financial statements
- Assist with preparation of government surveys and questionnaires
- Work with ICS and Compliance team to ensure violations and process maps are kept up to date and to highest standards
Qualification
- University Degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Accounting/Finance preferred).
- 2-4 years experience within a Finance/Accounting Department
- Knowledge and experience with SAP preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
The compensation range for this role is $52,500 - $73,100, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
