What you'll do
- Lead new model projects to mass production in the plastics department while ensuring all project targets are achieved in each of the SEQCDM categories.
- Project Planning & Coordination: Define SQDCM targets, manage investment/expense items, and lead cross-functional meetings with PEBU and internal teams.
- Trial & Event Leadership: Coordinate line trials, tool delivery, material schedules, and part quality with forming teams.
- Develop Injection Molding Process according to Honda standards.
- Mass Production Readiness: Ensure training, documentation, quality databases, and GPCS systems are in place before launch.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present “WAR” documents and evaluation event updates to leadership.
- Hands-On Support: Provide on-site support for data collection, equipment readiness, and issue resolution
What you need
- A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field of study or, equivalent relevant work experience in the industry
- At least 2 or more years of demonstrable experience in manufacturing, plastics, and/or new model engineering.
