What you'll do
As an Application Engineer at FUCHS, you will play a critical role in bridging technical expertise with commercial strategy. Your key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between commercial teams and R&D to drive new product development and optimize existing portfolios.
- Support strategic growth initiatives for aerospace, semiconductor, and related industry segments.
- Provide expert technical guidance on grease and fluid lubricants for targeted industries.
- Collaborate with customers to identify new business opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Champion FUCHS' culture of innovation, delivering comprehensive lubrication solutions to meet market needs.
- Develop proposals and technical recommendations for new products and applications based on market insights.
- Navigate approval processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Partner with product managers to support lifecycle management, product approvals, and training initiatives.
- Lead customer field trials and technical projects, including coordination, analysis, and reporting.
- Engage cross-functional teams (sales, key account management, business development) to ensure successful project execution and knowledge sharing.
- Represent FUCHS at trade organizations and industry events, strengthening our market presence.
- Contribute to global and regional technical communities, sharing expertise and best practices.
- Develop and utilize training materials, product guides, case studies, and marketing collateral to support internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a collaborative team member within the product management and application engineering group.
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or Science related backgrounds.
- 3+ years of either business, engineering, or sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of lubrication, engineering, or aerospace industry.
- Open to travel (10-20%).
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work setting (remote and onsite).
