As Development Manager, you will lead the cultivation, stewardship, and growth of the Foundation's donor and patron community. This is a strategic and relationship-driven role, focused on aligning philanthropic interests with our mission and vision.
What you'll do
Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and grow individual donors and patrons. Manage and nurture relationships with existing supporters, ensuring excellent stewardship. Deliver bespoke communications and impact reports to donors. Plan and host high-quality cultivation events, including private views and artist talks. Work with the Director to set and achieve annual income targets. Identify new opportunities for philanthropic support and major gifts. Maintain accurate donor records and ensure GDPR compliance. Act as an ambassador for the Foundation, collaborating across teams to deliver integrated supporter experiences.
What you need
Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or patron management within the arts, cultural, or nonprofit sector. Strong relationship management skills, with confidence engaging high-net-worth individuals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives. Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented. A collaborative team player with discretion and a genuine passion for the arts.
