Role Purpose
To ensure Aerodynamic Wind Tunnel tests are carried out in an effective and efficient manner. To develop, implement and refine facility and capability improvement projects.
Main Duties
Lead the Wind Tunnel Engineering Team ensuring output and quality standards are meeting expectations, providing feedback and guidance as required
Oversight of the various model preparation activities. This will include but not be limited to Model build (electro/mechanical systems) and Model Shakedown including status reporting
Generate, communicate, and where appropriate implement ideas for improvements to the wind tunnel model, facility, the test and the test capabilities, balancing this with the need for effective and efficient operations.

Qualifications and Experience Level
Proven track record of working within an Aero Testing Facility within a motorsport environment
In depth knowledge of wind tunnel systems and communication processes
An understanding of what is key for effective aerodynamic development and excellent interpersonal skills
Relevant degree (or equivalent)
Experience of project management and working in multi-tasking environments
Strong leadership capabilities, able to engage with impact, build confidence and ignite commitment, navigate, and lead in a dynamic and evolving business landscape
Confident and well organised with the ability to clearly prioritise tasks and make sound decisions, based on good judgment, seeking input as required
Great analytical and decision-making skills
Demonstrates a solution focussed approach and is proactive in resolving any challenge that they are faced with
