What you'll do
As Responsible for Safety, Health and Environment, reporting directly to the Management Systems Department, you will be key to ensuring environmental sustainability and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment throughout the organization. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising comprehensive health, safety, and environment (EHS) programs in all areas of our business, which comply with industry-specific regulations and standards, and which lead to minimizing environmental impact, mitigating risks, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
What you need
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Sciences.
- Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety and Environment and Integrated Management Systems ISO and specific knowledge of standards 14001, 45001, and 50001.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in a similar EHS management position in the chemical industry in a multinational environment, multifunctional teams, and international.
- Wide understanding of chemical processes, risks, and safety protocols and knowledge of applicable legal standards for the chemical and related sectors.
- Sustainability practices specific to the chemical industry, waste reduction, pollution prevention, and energy conservation.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft O365 for data analysis and report preparation, as well as ISO-Tools, Kanbanize, or other quality management software.
- Valuable knowledge and use of SAP: QM and NC modules.
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
