What you'll do
You will be committed to the highest level of customer service and will ensure programmes are delivered that meet all stakeholder requirements.
- Grow and develop new business with new sectors and supporting existing customers by increasing the potential client base
- Undertake negotiations with prospective clients covering financial objectives and business requirements with the help of the Brand& Management Team
- Contribute to the development of the overall Brand& business’ strategy
- Work collaboratively with other business divisions to exploit joint opportunities
- Initiate and manage the preparation of business proposals in response to client enquiries, ensuring relevant inputs are robust, valid and accurate
- Be the first point of contact with existing and potential clients, ensuring regular reporting and contact is maintained
- Ensure the business plans meets the company’s cash flow requirements
- Assist with the preparation of budgeting and forecasting of sales and margins
- Provide feedback to the Chief Executive Officer and Operations Director on market opportunities and developments
- Provide support at shows and exhibitions as defined by the marketing strategy
What you need
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role with experience of selling high value accounts and annual contract/programme negotiation. Previous experience and knowledge of the clothing and merchandise industry is essential in this role.
