What you'll do
As a Senior Quality Inspector, you will take ownership of the inspection process across key projects, components, and assemblies. Working with both in-house teams and external suppliers, you'll ensure that quality is never compromised, from initial receipt through to final fitment on our competition cars.
- Carry out detailed inspection of precision components using a variety of tools (CMM, manual gauges, micrometres, calipers etc).
- Inspect complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and geometric tolerances (GD&T).
- Approve or reject components based on strict motorsport quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and contribute to quality documentation and traceability.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Support audits, supplier assessments, and first article inspections (FAI).
- Providing feedback to internal Department Heads in respect of quality outcomes.
- Mentoring Junior Inspectors, sharing knowledge to ensure best practice for future development.
What you need
We're looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
- Deep understanding of high-performance manufacturing standards and tolerances.
- Hands-on experience with CMM (ideally both manual and programmable) and conventional inspection equipment.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Computer literate with strong MS Office skills.
- Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach.
