Description:
- Support the ramp up of our battery production by developing digital solutions that increase product quality, efficiency and data transparency. Working to correlate large data systems together and creating insights that intuitively guide our engineers to more efficient problem solving.
- Take ownership of project areas, taking a solution from inception to delivery and presenting the results to management.
- Plans and implements improvements within Battery Plant related to the specific digitalization strategy.
- Participates in cross-functional project teams supporting activities to derive insights during our production ramp up.
- Develops and maintains user and support documentation for areas of responsibility.
- Supports Plant / Battery Plant targets and goals for Production, Quality, Safety and Costs.
- Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
- Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Implementation of digitalization tools and analytics solutions.
- Help to deliver plant wide digitalization strategy.
- Steer the rollout of centrally provided solutions from requirements management, training and user acceptance testing.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering or similar degree
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- A proactive approach with creativity, project management capability, and a knack for entrepreneurial thinking.
- Programming experience with a preference for Python & JavaScript skills and basic understanding of cloud architecture deployment.
- A grasp of using SQL databases is beneficial.
- Adept in areas such as data mining, machine learning, statistical signal processing, and pattern recognition.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
