- You willbe responsible forusing a variety of cleaning techniques and equipment, including ultrasonic cleaners and pressure washers, to remove oil, dirt, and grime from engine parts.
- Additionally, you will need to document the cleaning process and communicate effectively with team members toidentifyany damaged components that may require further attention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
- Responsible for shop and break room clean-up, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
- Responsible for cleaning thepieceparts that have been removed and routed to the cleaning department after the engine has been disassembled.
- Remove grease build-up, corrosion products, etc., as well as prepare parts for the next overhaul step using various cleaning compounds and chemical solutions, spray guns, brushes, etc.
- Complete forms associated with work assignments according to established procedures.
- Responsible for the completion of assigned shop tasks and projects, including providing support to other technicians to complete necessary work ina timelymanner.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and neat work environment through proper housekeeping and organization.
- Accuracy -perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Oral Communication-ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers, supervisors,andmanagers all havingvarying degrees of education and background.

Desired Work Experience:
- Intermediate mechanical and technical aptitude desired.
- Technical training in automotive manufacturinga plus.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Basic computer skillsrequired.
Physical Demands:- Requires vision (near, distance, depth), sense of touch, and ability to wearPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) – safety glasses, hearing protection.
- Constantly manually manipulates,squatsor kneels, bends, lifts/carries up to 20 pounds, and pushes/pulls 12 pounds or less.
- Frequently stands, walks, sits, reaches outward,reaches above shoulder, lifts/carries up to 50 pounds, and pushes/pulls up to 25 pounds. Occasionally climbs, crawls, lifts/carries up to and over 100 pounds, and pushes/pulls up to 100 pounds.
