WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Guest Experience Intern, you will support guest-facing operations for the inaugural Grand Prix of Arlington. You’ll assist with staff training, ensure guest services are efficiently deployed during race week, help implement wayfinding plans and event setup, and manage key administrative tasks such as credentials, parking, and event collateral.
In this role, you’ll be an important part of delivering top-tier experiences to fans, partners, and teams across the motorsports world. You’ll take ownership of key responsibilities, collaborate across departments, and bring energy and innovation to a fast-paced environment.
The Grand Prix of Arlington is a joint venture (JV) project between the Dallas Cowboys and REV, the official entertainment partner of the Texas Rangers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Event & Logistics Manager on all training materials and sessions for guest services staff alongside our JV partners.
- Ensure the efficiency of guest services deployment during and leading up to the event – ensuring that all areas are properly staffed and operating as planned.
- Assist with overall deployment of wayfinding plan; including creation of routing maps, diagrams, and other documents.
- Manage facility set-up and tear-down operations that include bike rack placement, signage, and other event needs
- Provide administrative support to Event & Logistics Manager – specifically when it comes to processing and tracking all insurance certificates and the credential process.
- Assist with creation of Information Binders and other event collateral.
- Efficiently process parking and credential requests to appropriate parties.
- Actively participate in the creation and deployment of credential boards around the venue.
- Support additional GPA staff in other departments on an as needed basis
- Other duties as assigned.

Education:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university
Leadership:
- This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities
FLEXIBILITY & TRAVEL
- Schedule varies by event phase:
- January 5-January 16: 16 hrs/wk
- January 19-January 30: 24 hrs/wk
- February 2-February 27: 40 hrs/wk
- March 2-March 15: 40+hrs/wk
- March 16-March 24: 24 hrs/wk
- Extended hours required during event periods are to be expected
- No travel required
- Our teams work together to create flexibility that supports life in and out of work
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Extended periods of standing or walking, and working outdoors
- Comfort working indoors/outdoors and around event noise
- Must have the stamina to work long hours and must be willing to work an irregular schedule, which will include weekends or evenings.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Fast-paced, collaborative office and event settings
- Outdoor work during load-in/load-out and event operations
- Employee must meet with others on a regular basis
- Employee is faced with frequent interruptions and must be able to multi-task.
