WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Operations Intern, you will take on a hands-on role in supporting the successful execution of the Grand Prix of Arlington. You’ll help transform an empty venue into a fully operational event, assisting with logistics, production needs, and cross-team coordination. Your contributions will play a key part in delivering a seamless and memorable experience for fans, partners, teams, and stakeholders attending the inaugural Grand Prix of Arlington.
In this role, you’ll be an important part of delivering top-tier experiences to fans, partners, and teams across the motorsports world. You’ll take ownership of key responsibilities, collaborate across departments, and bring energy and innovation to a fast-paced environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the load-in and load-out of event assets throughout the venue
- Assist with operations and production tasks for the Grand Prix of Arlington
- Problem-solving and troubleshoot unexpected challenges during planning and event execution
- Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, service providers, and vendors regarding venue issues and operational needs
- Provide administrative support for the Operations team, including documentation and coordination.
- Support the planning and execution of major racing events
- Help maintain high standards of operational excellence and fan experience
- Deliver outstanding service to partners, guests, and colleagues
- Perform other duties as assigned to support event and facility operations

Education:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university
Leadership:
- This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities
FLEXIBILITY & TRAVEL
- Schedule varies by event phase:
- January: 18–24 hours/week
- February: 24–32 hours/week, some weekends
- March: 40+ hours/week, including weekends
- Extended hours required during event periods are to be expected
- No travel required
- Our teams work together to create flexibility that supports life in and out of work
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Extended periods of standing or walking, and working outdoors
- Comfort working indoors/outdoors and around event noise
- Must have the stamina to work long hours and must be willing to work an irregular schedule, which may include weekends or evenings.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Fast-paced, collaborative office and event settings
- Outdoor work during load-in/load-out and event operations
- Employee must meet with others on a regular basis
- Employee is faced with frequent interruptions and must be able to multi-task.
