Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Technical lead for Infineon’s automotive MCU product applications, including development of hardware and embedded systems, evaluation boards and demonstrators to showcase end-application functionality in automotive applications You will be part of a global automotive applications team, working with colleagues and customers across all locations, helping them develop end systems using Infineon’s automotive microcontrollers. Your role includes understanding device internals and end-applications, ownership of automotive use-cases including latest trends in automotive electronics Take up technical leadership in the area of system level / hardware design, low-level drivers for ARM, Tricore and RISC architectures Will include occasion travel to global locations to provide trainings and debug support at key customer sites Must have a deep understanding of microcontrollers, interfaces to external components in embedded systems such as communication PHYs, memory, displays, etc. Must have a strong grasp of embedded firmware and be able to define and develop driver components for Infineon microcontrollers Product-to-system activities such as interoperability experiments using several Infineon parts, data throughput analysis, optimization of hardware and drivers, etc. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Degree in Electronics /Communication/Instrumentation prefered 8+ years of relavent exp as application Engineer Strong circuits knowhow and a tinkering mindset, to be able to understand embedded systems at a block-diagram level, select optimal HW components, develop hardware schematics, create bring-up plans for new silicon and new evaluation boards Expertise in microcontroller architecture, firmware, embedded C programming and applications Willingness to learn, think out of the box and innovate, use debug tools such as oscilloscopes, debuggers, protocol analysers for optimising end-systems.
