Join our Documentation Enablement & Infrastructure team as a key contributor. You'll document complex, leading-edge automotive products using state-of-the-art tools and practices while collaborating with engineering teams worldwide. We focus on digitalization and automation, proactively developing agile documentation solutions that meet current and long-term company needs. You will have an eye for detail, be a team player, but demonstrate initiative, be flexible as situations and deadlines demand, be responsible, organized, follow the company and business unit standards, and bring a problem solving ‘can do’ attitu
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Provide SW solutions to support all aspects of the technical documentation flow, extracting information from source databases, manipulating content to required standards, building reports, and preparing content to interact with AI solutions that you deliver
- Learn the documentation lifecycle from information creation to external release at given milestones, to help identify and support custom solutions, understanding the different product families, multiple product variants, and numerous document types
- Contribute solutions and ideas to improving the efficiency and accuracy of our documentation deliveries
- Ensure the quality and consistency of our SW solutions which in turn guarantee the reliability of our documentation
- Roll-out solutions to documentation, engineering, and technical marketing teams, as required
- Support and mentor team members
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A degree in a related field such as computer science
- Strong SW programming skills
- Python (NumPy, pandas, XML libraries, ...)
- Good understanding of XML
- Practical and demonstratable AI/ML knowledge
- Understanding of Knowledge Graphs and Ontologies
- MCP implementation experience
- Git / Gitlab expert knowledge
- Jenkins knowledge
- Pro-active but process focussed
- Confident presentation skills
- A team player
- Adaptable as business demands change
- Basic understanding of a Component Content Management System (CCMS) and the concept of modular documentation
- Fluency in English with good written and verbal communication skills (German is helpful, but not essential)
