Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Be the design lead for Microcontroller product development Translate design concepts/requirements into functional implementation Use state-of-the-art design methodologies for the pre- and post-silicon phase and collaborate with different engineering teams Define metrics such as performance, power consumption, area targets, design simplicity/efficiency and testability and develop solutions to achieve these metrics together with various involved parties Initiate and drive feasibility studies to validate architectural decisions on design aspects such as clock system, power distribution, reset Act as facilitator for cross functional technical discussions required to achieve these metrics (setup workshops, drive direct F2Fcommunication between CE and DE wherever necessary) Own technical documentation e.g. microarchitecture and implementation documentation Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed You are able to quickly establish successful cooperations, accept responsibility for common goals and put the team’s results above your own interests. You have a structured work style and demonstrate high quality standards for yourself and other people. You are best equipped for this task if you have: A Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or comparable (University / University of applied sciences) At least 8 years of experience within digital IC design and proven experience in design lead role Digital design experience within a µController-based system Understanding of analog/mixed signal IC design and behavioral modeling Good knowledge of specific chip development tools such as Synopsys or Cadence Fluent English and German language skills Contact: Katrin Weiß, LinkedIn #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
