Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Act as technical advisor, be deeply involved in running projects across sites, give direction and take decisions Drive strategy & decisions for new HW development flows and methodologies from DSI point of view Build bridge to the global Infineon SoC community and represent departments interests in Design Methodology Experts Group and drive flow changes Define CSS flow roadmap for R2G topics Explore methodologies to leverage AI-assisted development Be the Interface to EDA Vendors, observe latest trends Consult management in project roadmap/strategy planning (from physical implementation point of view) Steer SoC design activities for security and UWB products, covering the full RTL2GDS flow Mentor a local team of SoC design engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed You are a team-player with excellent communication skills, who cooperate and communicate across boundaries. You work conscientiously on making things better, faster and more efficient and have a creative and characteristically innovative state of mind. You feel responsible for your doings and decisions and weigh up opportunities and risks carefully. A degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Physics At least 8 years of professional experience in SoC implementation Proven track record as technical lead Experience in working with Synopsys and/or Cadence RTL2GDS tool suites, with knowledge covering the various aspects of synthesis, place & route and timing signoff Scripting and automation as well as fostering automation of tasks to improve team performance The ability to identify gaps and driving innovation and methodology changes to achieve high levels of execution Experience with AI-assisted development (DSO.ai / Cerebrus) The ability to work with multi-site teams and the willingness to share your knowledge and act as a mentor Excellent English and German language skills Contact: Katrin Weiß, LinkedIn #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
