Automate and perform bench testing using the procedures to evaluate and life test components used in the Power Modules. Work with purchasing, production and design engineering on component cost down efforts Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal and external stakeholders, including component suppliers and Power Module design engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality engineers, to ensure successful product development and launch. Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or MSEE)from an accredited institution. At least 5 years of experience in component engineering, with a focus on power module development and production Experience in specifying and evaluating components, including inductors/magnetics, capacitors, resistors, and semiconductors. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electromagnetism, and materials science. Proficiency in simulation tools, such as SPICE, COMSOL, or ANSYS. Experience with material characterization techniques, including dielectric spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, and X-ray diffraction. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
