We are seeking a highly experienced Customs Operations Supervisor with deep expertise in Mexican customs regulations and international trade. This role is critical to ensuring compliant and efficient import/export operations across all modes of transportation and customs ports. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, International Relations, International Business, or a related field. 7 years of experience in a similar role within customs operations. Advanced English proficiency. Strong skills in project management, leadership, and teamwork. Supervision of two customs agents Hybrid position 3 days at office 2 days working from home (could be extended for 1 day more, in case of urgent or special tasks) Travel low frequency. Activities: Ensure full compliance with Mexican foreign trade and customs laws, including daily operational implementation. Manage import and export operations through land, ocean, and air customs ports, coordinating across truck, rail, air, and sea transportation. Oversee logistics processes related to customs clearance, including charters, LCL, FCL, intermodal shipments, and its Incoterms application. Implement and manage operations under Depósito Fiscal and IMMEX programs, including handling specific entry types and regulatory nuances. Supervise customs brokers and logistics providers involved in import/export activities. Ensure accurate documentation and transmission of customs entries, identifiers, and regulatory requirements using customs systems. Apply industry-specific knowledge of the automotive sector, including consolidated entries, benefits, and compliance obligations. Collaborate cross-functionally to implement new initiatives and resolve operational challenges through teamwork and continuous improvement.
