Role:
Leads the Supply Chain team for the Aftersales division, focusing on material flow, supplier management, and customer service excellence
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Act as a subject matter expert in Supply Chain, with deep knowledge of local auto parts suppliers in Brazil.
- Manage stock levels, resolve issues with troubled suppliers, and oversee supply chain procedures.
- Support integration across logistics, forecasting, and inventory functions.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve customer service, increase First Order Fill rate, and reduce backorders.
- Directly lead a senior team of 6 members, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment aligned with GM's values and cultural behaviors.
- Demonstrate resilience and decision-making in high-pressure and ambiguous environments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
- Advanced English and intermediate Spanish proficiency.
- Proven experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing people.
- Ability to work under pressure and navigate ambiguity.
- Desirable knowledge in manufacturing processes.
