Alpine F1 Team is on a mission to return to the front of the grid, and we are offering a unique opportunity for a passionate and driven undergraduate to join our Data Science team at our Enstone headquarters. This year long internship is designed for students eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges in Formula 1, contributing to the development and deployment of data-driven solutions that impact car performance, race strategy, and engineering processes.
You will be part of a collaborative team of Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Platform Engineers, working together to improve all areas of the team—from car design and manufacturing to performance analysis at the track.
The Role
- Support the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning and data science solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in extracting insights from large datasets to improve car performance and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the implementation of AI techniques and statistical models to solve complex engineering problems.
- Collaborate with engineers across departments to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Document and present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
