Pay Information
$28.38 per hour
Job Purpose
Support New Model or Business Plan project activities through strategy, planning, communications, and execution to achieve project, department, and plant Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale objectives and targets.
Key Accountabilities
Support strategies to achieve overall plant targets and improve manufacturing characteristics
Implement new and innovative technologies to drive continuous process improvements
Evaluate production capabilities and forecast future needs to ensure resources align with demand
Analyze and redesign workflows, layouts, and production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput
Perform most studies to help improve assembly line and manufacturing characteristics
Evaluate process down time to determine root cause and lead/support countermeasure
Support and lead projects as requested
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Experience:
1-3 years of manufacturing experience within Original Equipment Manufacturer environment
Other Job-Specific Skills:
Capable of communicating with all levels of associates and suppliers related to the technical aspects of the project
Ability to review and analyze part drawings, technical documents, and reports for change points and specification related characteristics and understanding the impact to assembly manufacturing equipment and processes
Understanding of manufacturing operations and processes, Lean manufacturing
Ability to perform most time studies and process efficiency
Good communication skills and experience with Excel. Power Point, Word, Outlook
Working Conditions
Time is divided between office environment and production areas
5 hours overtime per week is normal
Occasional weekend work required
Travel on an as needed basis
