JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Systems Principal Analyst supports enterprise SAP solutions at Honda Aircraft Company.
This role serves as the functional lead and SME for SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), SAP Warranty, Logistics Execution/SAP WM, and Global Trade Services (GTS), ensuring seamless integration across modules and delivering scalable business solutions aligned with operational goals.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
SAP SD & Warranty, Logistics Execution: Lead Requirements gathering, Functional design, Specifications, User Acceptance Testing and post go live Support for Projects and Enhancements in the areas of SAP SD, Warranty, Logistics Execution & WM modules. Manage hands own configuration for Order-to-Cash (OTC), Warranty, Service Management, Dangerous Goods, and Procure-to-Pay processes. Oversee enhancements in areas of Material Valuation, Serialized Equipment, Measurements, Variant Configuration, Variant Pricing and
Billing Plans Integration & Enhancement Projects: Drive integration efforts across SD, MM, WM, and GTS modules. Lead upgrades and enhancement of Process Weaver shipping solutions and SAP GTS. Support configuration of document types, ECCN, license determination, and trade compliance documentation in SAP GTS. Support SAP WM rollout and post-implementation improvement projects across multiple warehouses. Provide Production Support in the areas of Process Weaver Shipping Solution, Outbound WM Logistics and GTS Block and Error Resolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support SAP rollouts and post-go-live improvements. Collaborate on aircraft sales functionality using advanced Variant Configuration, Dependencies, Variant Pricing and Effectivity-based Change Masters. Lead projects and enhancements related to SAP interaction with Honda Jet connect Portal. Lead projects and enhancements related to SAP interaction with Quantum application for Service Centre.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 10+ years of years in SAP SD.
5 or more years project management, leading teams, building cross-organizational relationships
Other Job-Specific Skills:
Experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and post-go-live support.
Proven leadership in managing onshore/offshore teams and cross-functional collaboration.
Deep functional expertise in SAP SD, LE, WM, GTS, and Variant Configuration.
Strong understanding of OTC processes, Warranty Management, and Dangerous Goods handling.
Proficient in EDI integration, ALE/IDoc, and third-party logistics systems.
Effective communicator with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Business or IT experience with strong understanding of project management principles SAP process and application
Understanding of Quality, Incident Management, Problem Management Working experience with coaching, mentoring business case analysis, strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Honda IT Project Management Methodology
Communication skills with strong written and presentation skills, and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
