What You'll Do:
In this leadership role you will provide technical mentorship and expertise to other team members regarding requests, ongoing maintenance, and incident management. You will be responsible for supporting IT systems and/or applications. You will act as an expert within the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. We will rely on your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will lead and direct the work of others.
You will understand the key IT Operations functions and processes and how the existing and new processes will improve business results. Educate and mentor the technical team in the use of appropriate standardized operational methods.
Lead a team delivering comprehensive onsite IT support across one or more manufacturing plants, covering applications, server hosting, client hardware, storage systems, networking, communications, and databases.
Deliver 24/7 onsite IT support to your assigned plants, ensuring continuous operational uptime.
Support end-users at all levels, providing responsive and effective technical assistance.
Oversee triage and resolution of all IT incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Coordinate and implement IT changes, ensuring alignment with plant schedules and operational priorities.
Manage the lifecycle of IT service requests, from initiation to closure, maintaining all service level agreements.
Manage data center operations and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Maintain and support a wide range of IT assets including printers, notebooks, desktops, mobile devices, in-plant radios, scanners, tablets, network infrastructure, and virtual and physical hosting environments.
Oversee IT device provisioning, maintenance, and refresh cycles to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) and business liaison to centralized IT functions including applications, servers, storage, networking, end-user computing, and deployment teams.
Provide IT support for manufacturing launches, ensuring seamless technology integration and readiness.
Coordinate IT project execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
Oversee client patching activities to maintain security and system integrity.
Provide IT support for Just-in-Time (JIT) supplier operations, ensuring timely and reliable technology services.
What You'll Need:

Bachelors degree (or higher) in relevant discipline

10 + years of IT experience

Previous leadership or supervisory experience

Manufacturing experience
-
Experience in supporting comprehensive LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.

CCNA

Operates under general guideline and direction to maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair end-user equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, tablets), computer peripherals, and network connectivity

Good Windows PC and peripheral support skills

Experienced understanding of LAN/WAN concepts

Experienced understanding of wireless communication

Experienced IT Security knowledge

Applies sound skill, experience, and judgment to troubleshoot reported issues

Experienced with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points

This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis. A company vehicle will be provided for this role with successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review.
