This is a part-time internship position for our Spring Rotation, from January 12, 2026 through May 15, 2026 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging, and personable HR professional to join our geographically diverse team. In this highly visible and fast paced role, you will support the Human Resources Management team with recruiting, onboarding and general HR topics supporting our student program. As well, the incumbent will have the ability to be involved in many ongoing initiatives across the HR Management functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to begin a career in supporting people and business leaders.
This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, you will learn how to take skills you may have acquired in school and other professional experiences and apply them in a professional setting. Our interns deliver innovative solutions to real business challenges, while building enduring relationships with their manager and fellow team members.
Candidates should have a strong work ethic, be able to handle multiple tasks at once, and be able to finish projects under tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal discreetly with confidential information are required.
WHAT AWAITS YOU.
- Support our student programs with job postings on our career page and social media platforms, as needed
- Aid in the reviewing and screening process of our internship opportunities
- Identify top candidates based on requirements defined by the business in close collaboration with the hiring manager
- Schedule phone, video and in-person interviews
- Support the onboarding process and facilitate orientation of new interns
- Assist the HR department in ad hoc projects and updates to processes
- Posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms, removing them once vacancies have been filled
- Attend career fairs to recruit potential intern candidates
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have completed at least 60 college credit hours at time of application
- Field of study: Business Administration, Human Resources, Pyschology
- Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
- Ability to work part-time (20-29 hours/week)
- Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
- Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment
- Passionate about HR methods
- Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- The ability to relocate or commute to our Woodcliff Lake, NJ office (relocation and housing assistance is not provided)

- Languages: English (fluent, oral and written)
- Previous experience in Applicant Tracking Systems

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $25.30
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $32.20
