ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re now looking for an ambitious and driven Graduate Transmissions Engineer to join our high-performance team. If you have a passion for drivetrain systems, mechanical precision, and high-performance motorsport, this is your opportunity to help drive the future of competition cars.
Whilst working in our Transmissions Department, you will work alongside the Engineering and Design teams being the interface between them and the department.
The role and responsibilities include:
Assist with the preparation, development, and maintenance of high-performance transmission systems (gearboxes, differentials, driveshafts, and drivetrain components).
Support planning and forecasting to keep projects on track.
Learn and improve processes and procedures across the department.
Prepare and issue technical documentation for builds, servicing, and development work.
Conduct quality and build checks to maintain high standards.
Assist with tracking and lifing of transmission components to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Analyse and report on issues to help improve overall drivetrain performance.
Support the preparation, inspection, and maintenance of assemblies pre and post event.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
Educated to BEng or MEng degree level in Motorsport Engineering/Technology, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering.
Fundamental understanding of drivetrain systems and mechanical principals.
A genuine passion for motorsport and a drive to progress within a high-performance engineering environment.
Keen to learn and ready to get hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
Have a meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.
Excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills, and share our determination to deliver the very best results.
Pride yourself on delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
Preferred Experience:
Previous work experience in the motorsport industry on an industrial placement year, or hands on practical experience (either volunteering on race weekends or formula student) would be beneficial.
Experience working with gearboxes, differentials, or transmissions components.
