The Product and software portfolio finance organization is responsible for driving future revenue growth and strategic initiatives for GM. S&S partners closely with cross-functional groups to deliver insights that enhance business performance, operational efficiency, and customer value.
As part of this organization, the Financial Analyst will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Strategy teams to ensure financial alignment with business objectives. The role requires a strong analytical foundation, business acumen, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and value creation.

Responsibilities
- Execute all the primary functions of Corporate Finance – modeling, analyzing, advising, presenting, and deciding
- Develop and utilize financial modeling techniques to evaluate software products business cases
- Partner & collaborate cross-functionally and cross-finance to drive alignment & achievement of Digital Revenue & EBIT commitments (the Vault)
- Present insights and well thought out recommendations, including key issues for action / decision to leaders in Software & Services
Execute special projects and analyses as required
- Key partners: Software Product Management, OnStar, Product Development, Sales & Marketing
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills/ Fundamental knowledge of corporate finance
- 5+ years of finance experience as an analyst
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
- High business acumen and strategic thinking
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to organize and plan effectively, in ambiguous and continually changing environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile, action oriented, decision-making environment

Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Cole Engineering Tech Center - Global HQ Warren, MI three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
