Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK.What you need? The mindset of an athlete. Your mission
Programming complex components using CAM software like hyperMILL or 3dXRun-in and supervise complex milled components, make and optimise changesWork on state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centres with Heidenhain TNC640Load and prioritise prototype/one-off and small series parts using the latest robot technologyBe responsible for the accuracy of the parts and the entire process, from ordering materials to checking the workpiecesWork in a 2-shift operationOccasional weekend work
Your profile
Completed training as a polymechanic EFZSeveral years of experience with 5-axis machinesSeveral years of CAM experience / hyperMILL, CATIA V5, 3dX (an advantage)Good knowledge of the Heidenhain control system (an advantage)Enjoy working with high-tech materialsUsed to working carefully and independentlyA team player and very flexibleWilling to work outside normal working hoursWilling to work on a time-shifted basisExperience in a Formula 1 environment Proficiency in English language skills. German language skills will be an advantage
