We are seeking a skilled and reliable Licensed Electrician to join our team. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. As part of the Facilities team, this position will also assist theFacilities department with general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting, and circuit breakers.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide cost-effective solutions.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical plans.
Inspect electrical components and systems to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs.
Support production and facility operations by minimizing downtime through prompt response to electrical breakdowns.
Collaborate with maintenance staff, engineers, and contractors on system upgrades, modifications, and projects.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes and company safety policies.
When necessary, assist the Facilities department with general maintenance tasks such as:
Assist in the maintenance, repair, and operation of building systems, including HVAC repairs, electrical, plumbing, construction, and general facilities.
Maintains, inspects, and repairs all mechanical facilities such as pumps, boilers, tanks, air, water, pipes, exhausts, etc.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety, efficiency, and cleanliness of buildings.
Use digital tools and software for work orders, diagnostics, and reporting.
Maintains accurate records regarding annual inspection of equipment and general preventative maintenance.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a current, valid state-issued electrician license to be considered.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
Minimum 3 years of electrical experience (residential, commercial, or industrial).
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Proficiency with electrical testing tools, PLCs, VFDs, and control systems (preferred but not required).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work in various environments (heights, tight spaces, outdoors).
Valid driver’s license.

Pay: Salary is determined based on experience and qualifications. Potential to earn additional $8k-10k with bonus plan.
