We are looking for a Quality Engineering Manager
The Quality Engineering Manager plays a critical role in ensuring product compliance and excellence within the vehicle assembly plant. This position leads a team of quality engineers and collaborates cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement, manage change, and uphold customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to deliver flawless product quality.
Role and Responsibilities
• Lead the quality engineering team and coordinate product quality activities with internal departments and suppliers.
• Drive a culture of quality and accountability across the plant.
• Ensure alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Activities
• Quick and autonomous decision-making to ensure product quality.
• Ability to block production or commercialization in case of non-compliance.
• Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitoring quality indicators and managing warranty claims.
• Supplier quality control and validation of product launches.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving workshops and quality reviews.
Decision Framework
• Operates autonomously in a plant
• Handles customer complaints and critical defects.
• Coordinates escalation actions with suppliers.
• Supports strategic decisions impacting production and product release.
Required Skills and Profile
• Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience with Stellantis Production Way/WCM/Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and quality tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC).
• Ability to influence and collaborate across departments and levels.
