Key Responsibilities Manufacture wiring harness assemblies in line with production requirements.
Build and service on-car steering wheels for race use.
Conduct Cirris electrical testing of harness assemblies post-build/service.
Service harness assemblies post-use, including cleaning, inspection, damage reporting, and supporting repairs.
Maintain accurate build and service records.
Support manufacturing process and procedure updates.
Assist with production, test, and calibration activities across the Electronics department. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Proven experience in wiring harness prototyping and manufacture, with Autosport and Aerospace connectors, boots, and PCB assembly.
Hands-on experience with steering wheel and harness manufacture in motorsport, ideally Formula One.
Familiarity with harness testing equipment (Cirris preferred).
Skilled in assembly/rework of electrical components such as panels, rigs, motors, and test equipment.
Confident interpreting both mechanical and electrical technical drawings.
Small-scale soldering skills; experience with surface mount PCB assembly advantageous.
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
Experience with calibration/servicing of sensors and actuators advantageous.
Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to perform under pressure.
