About the Team:
Head of IW service business in Asia Pacific for ZF Wind Power, responsible for completed growth and Profit & Loss of Asia Pacific (excluding China) service business includes Sales (OES & IAM Customers), Sales Support, Service Engineering, Field Service and operations (New and Repairs).
Act as local manager for service team in the Asia Pacific Service Centre in Coimbatore. To build and enhance the portfolios of Key Accounts of ZF Wind Power and synergistic relationship.
What you can look forward to as Head of APeC Service:
- Sales & Sales Support: Engage with the OEM’s, IPPs, Utility & End user customers. Establish customer relationships & long-term framework agreements. Lead Asia Pacific sales team & sales support team and play an active role on Sales of Service activities to identified Key Accounts to achieve monthly / yearly targets. Ensure internal order processing
- Regional Services: To set-up service support on Asia Pacific regions and ensure service support is extended in all the regions (India will be the regional hub). Also establish Authorised Service Agents, where needed, to ensure optimal cost and response.
- Multi-brand Service: Establish ZF, in India, as a multi brand service provider by setting up reverse engineering and process capabilities in India. Establish viable multi-brand service business in India
- Sales & Operational Planning: Plays an active role in the customer and plant Sales & Operational Plan process. Keep the customer schedules up-to-date and communicate internally of the changes to customer requirements. Manage operations of service i.e., deployment of equipment and personnel to optimise costs.
- Customer Quality Interface: Discuss the various quality standards/specifications with the client in collaboration with the quality department. Discuss customer remarks or complaints on quality issues with Quality Manager and ensure necessary corrective actions are linked to it.
- Product & Service Delivery: Influence stakeholders at ZF Wind Power to drive for results to ensure delivery of products and services up to customer requirements in terms of cost, time of delivery, quality and reliability. Solidify orders and follow up the orders to ensure early detection and resolution of potential issues.
- Revenue Generation: Ensure collection of payments from Key accounts as per mutually agreed schedules.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market study on key market trends, competitive positions & customer / end-user behavior in the wind power market. Participate in Events and Fairs to sustain current & generate future business.
- Service Operation: Handle the service operations on the new and repairs in line with ZF standard & quality and ensure the target lead time of <90 days and maintain QCD
Your profile as Head of APeC Service:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Master’s degree in business administration is a plus.
- Approximately 20 years of experience in operations and services within the capital goods engineering industry.
- Demonstrates strong leadership through decision-making, driving execution, and managing work processes, while fostering open communication and embracing change.
- Exhibits technical expertise in gearbox engineering, product lifecycle management, and business processes, with a sharp focus on customer needs and market trends.
Skilled in relationship building, negotiation, and effective communication across internal and external stakeholders.
