ZF Wind Power puts wind energy in motion! The ZF Wind Power Business Unit is part of ZF group which is known as one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers. To reinforce our Design and Development Team in the Concrete Mixer Drives and Off-Highway Systems department, we are looking for a new colleague at our location in Coimbatore.
What you can look forward to as Design & Development Engineer (m/f/d):
• Development and design of hydraulic-mechanical and electric-mechanical systems in the Concrete Mixer Drives,
ensuring quality objectives
• Coordination of development tasks in an internationally structured development team
• Technical leadership of customer development projects up to series production and technical support of series products
• Analysis, evaluation, and clarification of system requirements with customers and internal departments
• Creation of requirement specifications for components and systems, and coordination with internal and external suppliers
• Design change and deviation request approval management with suppliers and customers on global scale
• Change management for technical documents, BoM and other related documents
• Technical support for supplier quality improvement and field quality cases
Your profile as Design & Development Engineer
• Bachelor or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 5+ years of professional experience in the environment of off-highway machines
• Good 3D CAD skills, especially in Creo, and experience with PDM systems, preferably Axalant and Windchill
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex matters to all stakeholder (e.g. customers)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
