Hybrid: This position requires you to work on-site 3 times a week (Tue to Thu)
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
People Management and Communication
- Supervise and GMSA (GM South America) teams (5 contributor individuals)
- Set direction and clear goals for the team
- Provide candid and timely feedback to the team
- Have professional development discussions with the team
- Facilitate the communication between business areas, GBS and Finance teams
Review and approve reports and activities performed by the team:
- GMSA Revenue Recognition accounting
- GMSA Sales Incentives accounting
- GMSA Finished Goods accounting including aging analysis
- GMSA Warranty
- GMSA Accounts Receivables management (AFDA, write-off discussions)
- Balance Sheet Variance Analysis
Statutory Audit Reports
- Facilitate the communication between GM teams with EY
- Support EY on its information requests
- Support VSM and FP&A teams on ad-hoc requests
Coordinate with Intercompany team to clear all imbalances during the closing
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor degree completed in Accounting
- Active CRC
- Accounting or financial analysis experience
- English from intermediate level
What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preference Qualifications):
- Proficiency in ERP accounting software’s (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Master or MBA preferred
- Spanish
