Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Edmonton CCA PDC - Plant on a full-time basis.
The Role:
The Edmonton Parts Distribution Centre is looking for a responsible, hardworking, and out-going Student Supervisor for a medium sized group of hourly employees for our warehouse operation! You will be responsible for timely shipment and/or receipt of parts by efficient utilization of labour and equipment. The selected candidate will provide mentorship and support for all warehouse staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintains safety and good housekeeping practices
-
Maintains records to track and improve departmental performance
-
Active involvement in the operation of the warehouse
-
Assist with planning and scheduling of departmental staff
-
Assist with training, staff meetings, and supervising staff with guidance of the General Supervisor
-
Maintain awareness of quality standards, communicate departmental quality goals, and leverage resources to solve quality issues
-
Empower and develop employees to effectively perform their jobs applying standardized methods
-
Develop and revise work instructions as required
-
Willingness to work straight afternoon shift and/ or 2 weeks rotation
Required Qualifications:
-
Pursuit of a Bachelor's (2nd, 3rd and 4th year students) degree in one of the following areas: Business, Operations, Engineering

Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week in Canada, and for 12-month term (3 consecutive semesters) starting January 2026
-
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output

Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
-
Demonstrates strong leadership and written/verbal communication skills
-
Highly adaptable with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
-
Fundamental digital literacy including proven understanding of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Previous supervisory, or team leading experience

Previous warehousing experience
