About the Role.
The successful candidate will be supporting the Customer Support Business Development team working in areas as diverse as BMW and MINI Lifestyle, Accessories, Service Retention, Tires, Wheels, Automotive Chemicals, and Batteries.
Key Accountabilities.
Business Development.
- Supporting the Business Development team with Cold Weather Wheel Kit and Loose Tire seasonal program readiness including; previous year data collection, business case data collection, report coding, and analysis, preparation of product offerings, and hands-on inventory checks.
- Producing sales reports leveraging SQL coding, database extraction and business case analysis, using historical data and built-in assumptions to assist in product offering and target achievement decision making.
- Supporting the Business Development team with loose tire product planning and maintenance/development of Customer/Retailer sales/product support platforms.
- Supporting incentive program logistics and development to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Data collection from various sources for general sales reports, metrics and presentations as required.
- Supporting with the successful execution of special edition vehicle planning which involves Accessory products.
- Regular and ongoing support of Customer Support Business Development team with updates to Customer Support managed web properties.
- Supporting the Customer Support Business Development team in validating product information for Service Retention programs, Wheel Program and other matrices found in product/service detailed programs.
- Supporting the Automotive Chemicals group with chemicals inventory supply & compliance for automotive chemical products.
- Assisting with hands-on and virtual audits of managed product inventory.
- Regular audits of our Customer Support web presence to “fact check” and ensure customer/user experience journey is aligned with expectations of our brands and working “glitch free”. Includes flagging possible issues to Marketing and Business.
- Supporting Customer Support Business Development with BMW/MINI Lifestyle inventory spot checks and ordering verification. Includes support with annual Associate Lifestyle sales and other internal or external promotions.
- Assisting with the administration, ordering and life cycle maintenance of Customer Support agency operations and vehicle logistics.
- Assisting the Lifestyle, Chemical and Accessories teams with annual events, inventory reconciliations, inventory sell off and reduction activities.
- Supporting the Customer Support Business Development team with internal and external events aimed at promoting Accessories and Lifestyle. Includes securing and checking inventory, creating displays, shipping of product, etc.
Strategy & Planning
- Support the Strategy and Planning team in updating and maintaining internal and external Aftersales dashboards
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data migration and data warehousing projects, identifying discrepancies and ensuring data completeness.
- Manage daily tire part number setup, communicate new part numbers, and maintain price parity between BMW and vendor portals.
- Respond to pricing tickets as needed, providing timely and accurate information to retailer inquiries.
- Analyze pricing factors in the Pricing Dashboard to identify opportunities for enhancing profitability and market share
- Assist with data collection for annual government verification audits submitted to the Regulatory and Professional Regulatory Authority (RPRA).
- Collect required monthly data from various business owners to update retailer incentive program reports and communicate the results to Customer Support stakeholders for review.
Additional Skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL (coding & database joining) and Tableau
- Expert Knowledge of MS Excel (e.g. Vlookups, pivot tables)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet/manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
