Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK. What you need? The mindset of an athlete. Your mission
Inspection and measurement of mechanical components for the F1 car and the wind tunnel modelIdentification of parts that do not conform to technical drawingsPreparation, documentation, and creation of inspection reportsLogging and processing of error reports in the quality management systemCross-departmental collaboration to efficiently develop and implement solution proposalsPoint of contact and support for various departments regarding measurement and technical drawing-related questions
Your profile
Successfully completed basic mechanical training with additional qualification in quality assuranceAUKOM Level 1 & 2 desirable or equivalent qualificationVery good knowledge of 3D measurement and experience with Zeiss Calypso softwareExperience in 3D measurement using Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMM)Experience with manual measuring tools and gaugesExcellent ability to read technical drawings – ISO GPS 8015Structured, precise, and independent working styleHigh resilience and flexibility, as well as willingness to work in a 2-shift systemFluent in German or English, with a willingness to learn basic skills in the other language is requiredSAP knowledge is an advantage
