Angular Front-End Developer

Assignment:
The candidate has a master’s/bachelor’s degree in computer science (or IT equivalents) and has minimum 3 years of experience with Angular development.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering (Angular) and will be familiar with Python and Gitlab CI/CD. He or She will work with developers, Product Owners and mechanical engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and filled the requirements. This position requires to handle entire Software Life Cycle.
Position description:
The mission consists in building a new solution for DORD to bridge the gap between Material designers and Tire Designers.
As a Front End developer, you will be responsible for the development of the front end of a new solution. You’ll also have opportunity to develop back-end services (Python mostly) as a member of One Product Team. You will closely work with partners and business analyst, as well as architects and other developers. The team is a worldwide team across DORD and DOTI/BSRD.
The expectations of the position are the following:
- Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Angular (versions 10+). Perform thorough testing (unit and integration), debugging, and troubleshooting of front-end components.
The mission also consists incontributing to the ramp up of Angular in WW DORD SIM entity, requiring to stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, Michelin Angular updates, and industry trends. - Collaboration: Collaborate with Product team and partners to translate requirements into interactive and responsive user interfaces. Facilitate collaboration between development and operations teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Security: Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Michelin policies.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Documentation and quality: Document processes, procedures, and configurations to maintain consistent and reliable systems.
