Job purpose:
To oversee and manage all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse layout and processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading a team to achieve operational targets.
Your Tasks as Warehouse & logistics Manager:
- Supervise and Control Warehouse operations and lead for all warehouse operations to 3PL. Supervise and control all goods inward, storage, issue online and dispatch to customers as per Process. Planning, supervision of warehousing operations. Oversaw upkeep of material handling equipment’s and physical condition of the warehouse, identifying, ordering needed repairs and replacements in line with 3pl.
- Supervise & control Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectiveness. (Navision, SAP). Monitor and control customer deliveries by ensuring service with right part, on right time, at right place in less cost. Responsible to make plan for kitting and lasering operation. Implement and change supplier’s and customer’s packaging design to save packaging cost and transportation cost.
- Ensuring both packaging and transport suppliers meet service, cost, on time delivery & expected quality as per agreement and standards of organization. Plan annual budget for warehouse and control the actual costs as per budget norms.
- Conduct monthly perpetual and yearly stock taking effectively and accurately. Cycle Count System-Set cycle count process and leads stock accuracy to avoid surprise Shortage
- Responsible for budget planning related to warehouse activities. Responsible for stock accuracy and correction of stock in plant.
- Responsible for Stock taking and Monthly Perpetual Inventory. Responsible for IATF, ISO14001, Plastic Management (EPR Portal Management). Responsible for PAN India operation and improvement thorough lean methodologies.
Your Profile as Warehouse & logistics Manager:
- Minimum of 11-18 years of experience in supply chain management. Degree in Management of Supply Chain, Logistics
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing warehousing operations.
- Proficiency in supply chain warehousing software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to conduct supplier audits and assessments.
