Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd commenced operations on October 1st, 2001 and was founded to give Porsche closer ties with Asia Pacific markets that are becoming increasingly important. Porsche Asia Pacific supports the operation of importers and dealers in 13 countries: Brunei, Cambodia, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
Tasks
- Responsible for establishing and coordinating the sales strategy objectives, policies and programs within Asia Pacific
- Oversee production planning and sales forecasting to effectively balance supply and demand, ensuring optimal profitability for regional business units
- Manage the vehicle ordering, distribution, and allocation process to achieve supply and inventory objectives while maximising market performance and profitability
- Collaborate with regional leadership to oversee cross functional performance while ensuring continuous follow-up on strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives outlined in annual business plans
- Collaborate with regional leadership on parameters regarding a brand adequate product and pricing strategy and positioning
- Understand competitive landscape and analyse market intelligence and data for strategy formation
- Plan and manage market potential as well as the respective cross functional budgets
- Lead the sales organisation and communicate in committees internally and externally
- Represent the company in front of a large group of employees, network dealers, media and customers
Requirements
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration or other relevant degree
- Minimum 10 years working experience in Sales, Marketing, Strategy and/or Consulting, with at least 5 years sales leadership experience in automotive industry
- Passion for the product and brand
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
- International experience, excellent intercultural/interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Well established leadership, analytical, presentation and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel regularly within the Asia Pacific region
