Job Description
The Guest Services Associate serves as the first and primary point of contact for guests arriving at the RV park areas during the Formula 1 event. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, informative, and efficient check-in experience, as well as supporting on-site merchandise sales and general guest needs throughout the event. ***This is an on-site, temporary contract position for Formula 1. The dates of employment are October 14th – October 27th*** We are looking to contract 6-8 people for this role.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct the guest check-in process with a positive and friendly attitude while maintaining efficiency to avoid delays or lines.
- Provide each guest with a brief but clear overview of important event details, amenities, and activity information.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by remaining approachable, courteous, and helpful at all times.
- Notify the Zone Manager/GM of any upset or escalated guest concerns.
- Accurately complete the registration process, ensuring all guests are properly accounted for.
- Assist with the sale of merchandise, including handling transactions.
- Restock merchandise throughout the day to ensure displays remain full and organized.
- Report low inventory or needed supplies to the Zone Manager.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and organized check-in and retail space.
- Accurately process cash and card payments in accordance with event procedures.
- Distribute event materials such as wristbands, welcome packets, maps, and schedules.
- Log frequent guest questions or common issues to help improve future operations.
- Support lost and found reporting and coordination when needed.
- Provide guests with reminders or updates about event schedules or activities.
- Conduct guest activities such as crafts, games, or contests as scheduled.
- Set up games, activity stations, and craft items at the beginning of each shift.
- Ensure the activities area is tidy, inviting, and fully stocked throughout the day.
- Maintain a friendly, energetic, and helpful presence throughout your shift.
