WHAT AWAITS YOU.
- Support all comms initiatives, including reportuing directly to the LA Studio Director and providing key support to the DW LA Comms lead as the LA studio continues to expand its online presence.
- Assist in crafting compelling and engaging content for various marketing and communication materials, including social media posts, blog articles and various promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the Comms Lead to ensure brand consistency in messaging across all channels.
- Support the Comms Lead on social media accounts, including establishing a content schedule and calendar, monitoring engagement, and contributing innovative ideas for content creation.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing events, both in-person and virtual, ensuring seamless communication and logistics.
- Work closely with design teams to integrate visual elements into marketing materials, aligning with the agency's creative identity.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing and communications team, including organizing files, maintaining databases, and coordinating meetings.
- Maintain the Designworks website by updating content and uploading new materials as they become available. Support the creation of case studies, maintain image quality and appropriate sizing, etc.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have completed at least 60 college credits or be at least a rising Junior
- Field of study: Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising or related fields
- Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
- Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
- Experience writing creative copy and a strong command of the English language
- A strong grasp of multi-platform marketing and the needs of each platform and a willingness to learn back-end tools that support daily social media posting
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and an interest in learning new visual tools
- Visual acument, the ability to match brand voice and capability of translating abstract concepts into easy-to-read copy for a variety of formats
- Availability of 6 months or more preferred

This is a full-time internship position for our Fall/Winter Rotation, from September 22, 2025 through March 20, 2026 in Santa Monica, CA.
The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $25.30
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $32.20
The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
