Task
Position objective
The ADAS intern supports the ADAS validation team by conducting automotive pre-series testing and special market-specific test events in cooperation with test engineers and/or according to the OEM’s proprietary testing systems and methodologies.
Roles & responsibilities
Support conducting automotive pre-series testing operations.
Support the team with data-handling and -verification of gathered information out of ADAS testing.
Maintain and assist with cross-section upgrades of the test fleets.
Implement best practices for ADAS system validation and route planning.
Create a summary of monitored development.

Education:
Undergraduate work in a related field
Experience:
Porsche experience helpful
Automotive experience helpful
Advanced Driver Assistant Systems knowledge helpful
Software development experience helpful
Administrative experience helpful
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (German helpful)
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to operate independently
Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality (integrity)
Teamwork – ability to positively interact with all levels of the organization

The pay range for this full-time position is between $19.00 and $21.00 per hour.
Physical requirements
Comfortable with physical exertion for 3 – 5 hour intervals
Comfortable standing and walking for 3 – 5 hour intervals
Ability to travel long distances in aircraft or via automobile (5+ hours)
This job operates in a test bench and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, move, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift.
