Job Purpose
The North American Quality Assurance Department is looking for a tech-savvy and creative Digital Innovation Associate to support our digital transformation initiatives and help drive innovation within Honda’s North American Quality Business Unit. This role will identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies that enhance business efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital strategy, emerging tech, and project management, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
Key Accountabilities
Develop & Execute Digital Strategy: Identify and lead the implementation of innovative digital solutions aligned with business objectives.
Project Management: Lead digital innovation projects from ideation to execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
Emerging Technology Exploration: Subject matter expert for AI, IoT, blockchain, automation, and other disruptive technologies.
Process Optimization: Drive cross-functional teams to improve workflows, enhance digital adoption, and drive operational efficiency.
Customer-Centric Solutions: Lead implementation of digital experiences through user-centered design and customer feedback.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and insights to refine digital strategies and optimize performance.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports, presentations, and case studies on digital projects and industry trends.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field
5+ years of experience in digital innovation, transformation, or related fields
Strong understanding of emerging technologies, digital strategies, and innovation methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Agile, Lean Startup)
Experience managing digital projects and leading cross-functional teams
Proficiency in digital tools and automation platforms
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience with AI, cloud solutions, data analytics, or automation tools is a plus
Working Conditions
This position supports a highly collaborative open office environment while offering the flexibility to work from home
Travel may be required at times but will not exceed 15 days in any given year
