Job Purpose
The OneHR Business Planner drives both AHM and HDMA Human Resource Business Plan development and execution; enables Departments and Cross-Functional teams to satisfactorily perform their roles; and ensures initiatives aid the achievement of the broader regional objectives. The Business Planning role will promote the judacious intentions of regional Human Resource business plan directives; interpret and provide guidance to HR Leadership to ensure activities align; and aid the achievement of the organization’s objectives. The individual in the role will report to AHM and HDMA top executives in strategy and business plan development and execution activity that reinforces the characteristics required for achievement of regional goals. Additionally, the Business Planning role will work with HR Leadership on business plan strategies and path forward that are reported to Executive Leadership Quarterly. The Business Planning role will also work with the North America Business Plan team on the identification and implementation of best practices and standardization of the business plan process.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the OneHR mid-term strategy and business plan development. As a representative of the regional Human Resource function, collaborate with upstream and downstream customers to ensure strong alignment, performance, and execution through robust PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) of themes and KPIs (Key Performance Indicator)
Drive PDCA on performance metrics, identifying and suggesting focus areas for HR leadership discussion
Develop the OneHR story flow and document preparation for both AHM and HDMA executive review as indicated in the company Business Operation Flow
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent work experience
Advanced degree desirable (MBA)
8+ years of Business Planning experience in governance, internal controls, risk management, and/or compliance a plus
4+ years of Human Resources experience
Analytical, organizational, problem solving, self-starter with excellent communication (verbal and written) and facilitation skills
Ability to use metrics and data analysis to identify and resolve issues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI or other dashboard visualization tools a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to interface with executive management levels
Ability to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment and outside functional area
Working Conditions
Position requires 4 days per week in office, 1 day per week remote
Minimal domestic travel (less than 5%) required
