You will develop into a Supplier Capacity and Bottleneck Manager (m/f/d) and gradually assume independent management of component groups and suppliers – from pre-series to series production.
You will actively manage supply bottlenecks and task forces, working closely with internal interfaces at Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Benz as well as with external suppliers.
You will be responsible for your own area of responsibility in capacity and supply management for pre-series and series projects, thus directly contributing to securing our vehicle ramp-ups.
You will be involved in organizational and strategic tasks and implement cross-departmental projects together with your manager.
You will support the preparation and reporting to management regarding capacity security for critical suppliers and components.
As part of your Steinbeis project, you will develop concrete measures to increase efficiency in preventive capacity management and development parts management.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or comparable
Confident demeanor, strong initiative, and strong communication and persuasion skills in a fast-paced environment
Team spirit, high level of commitment, flexibility, and a sense of ownership
Confident use of MS Office
Initial practical experience in supply chain/supplier management
NOTES:
Start date: September 2025 or later
Duration: 2 years
